Veg spring rolls using roll sheets

Veg spring are rolls made with veggies stuffed inside. Veggies spring rolls are very easy to make at home. when you are craving something crunchy and light veg spring rolls is the nice option.Today, I am sharing veg spring rolls using sheets available in markets. It’s easy and fast to make rolls without the need of dough if sheets are available. These sheets can be prepared in advance.

Ingredients:

  • Spring rolls sheets 10(defrosted)
  • Carrot grated 1/3 cup
  • White onion thin sliced 1 tbsp
  • Cabbage sliced or grated 1/3 cup
  • Green onion fine chopped 2 tbsp
  • Beans fine chopped 1 tbsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Soya sauce 1/3 tsp (optional)
  • White paper powder 1 tsp
  • Oil 1 tbsp
  • Maida / cornflour 1 tbsp
  • Oil for frying

Method :

  • Heat oil in a pan and add onion slices to cook little
    But then add all sliced vegetables and cook for 2 mins, now add salt, pepper powder and soya sauce and toss the veggies. Don’t overcook and take them out in a plate.
  • let vegetables cool down to normal temperature.
  • Make a thick paste of corn flour and water.
  • Now take spring rolls wrapping sheets and place 1 tbsp of cooked veg mixture at one end and tightly roll it to wrap veggies in it. close the warp properly with corn flour sticky mixture.
  • Make sure warp is tightly closed and vegetables are properly sealed.
  • Make all rolls and keep it aside.
  • There are 2 ways to cook these spring rolls:
    • Way 1:
      • In a deep fry pan, heat oil and deep fry spring rolls on low medium flame till it turns golden brown
    • Way 2:
      • Bake in oven on 180 degree centigrade for 10 minutes and check, till it will come out golden brown.
  • Serve after 5 minutes of cooking, because vegetables inside are very hot inside.
