Earth cookies – eggless
Earth cookies sounds weird like earth 🌍 in cookies. This name gives cookies some color selection and view to kids’ imagination. Yeah summertime- kids time, kids in kitchen trying many fun activities which included some basic baking and cooking as well.
I tried these cookies with my kids in kitchen and its fun making cookies in fun way. Adding colors and make mess with dough and try different shapes. These cookies are very easy to make with minimum ingredients, as all know we don’t use eggs in our dishes or recipes on vegflavors. So, we are making eggless Earth cookies. We made round cookies with green and blue color to give it a look of nature and water on earth. These can be any shape or color, no need to be specific shape or color particularly. Chocolate chips can be added to recipe if you like, just add 2 tbsp of Choco chips, but proportion of basic ingredients should be specified in recipe.
let’s start our eggless earth cookies:
INGREDEINTS:
- All-purpose flour 3 cups
- Butter 1 cup (room temperature)
- Sugar 1 cup
- Baking powder 1 tsp
- Vanilla essence 1 tsp
- Color green and blue 5-8 drops
METHOD:
- In a big bowl beat butter and sugar together with beater or whisker. Beat it together till it becomes creamy and fluffy. don’t over beat.
- Add vanilla essence and mix it.
- Sieve flour and baking powder together to another bowl.
- Now mix flour mixture slowly to butter mixture and beat continuously.
- When all the flour will be added it will form a dough.
- Use your hand to mix dough and bind it together. (if you want to add chocolate chips add now to dough) Divide dough in 2 parts and mix blue color in 1 part and green color in other part of dough.
- make small balls of both color dough.
- Combine 2 balls together and give it round shape so it will have both color in one cookie. Give it shape you want. I gave round shape and press a bit.
- Place these in baking tray and give some space between cookies. For proper baking around.
- Preheat oven at 180 degrees Celsius.
- Place baking tray in preheated oven and bake it for 15-20 minutes. Check after 15 minutes if bottom color changed bit. If not yet keep it in oven for another 5 minutes. Take these out after 5 minutes and don’t try to taste right away it’s very hot inside. Keep it on cooling rack or room temperature for 10-15 minutes to cool down cookies and enjoy yummy cookies.
- Store them in airtight container.
