Chocolate banana walnut cake – eggless

Eggless chocolate banana walnut cake is easy to make and with kids it’s fun to do baking.

Today, I was making eggless Banana walnut cake, but my daughter asks me to add chocolate flavor as well, so it became eggless chocolate walnut banana cake.it came out so well and crunch of walnuts made it so fruitful.

let’s see Ingredients and method of eggless chocolate walnut banana cake.

Ingredients:

  • All-purpose flour / white flour /Maida 1 cup
  • Wheat flour 3/4 cup
  • Baking powder 1 tsp
  • Baking Soda 1 tsp
  • Powder Sugar 1 cup
  • Walnut 1/2 cup
  • Oil 1/2 cup
  • Ripe banana 3
  • Cocoa powder 1/4 cup or chocolate sauce 3 tbsp
  • Vanilla essence 1 tsp
  • Cinnamon powder 1/2 tsp(Optional)
  • Milk 1/3 cup (if required, soya milk as vegan option)

 

Method:

  • Peel and Mash banana in a bowl. Add sugar in it and mix well.
  • Mix oil in banana mixture and add baking soda and baking powder. Mix everything together and keep aside for 5 minutes.
  • Sift maida, wheat flour, cocoa powder and cinnamon powder all together in a bowl.
  • Slowly mix and beat flour mixture to banana mixture in portions so it won’t have any lumps. Beat it with beater or hand whisker. Add vanilla essence and mix everything together. If batter is very thick add milk to it and beat again.
  • Preheat oven at 180 degree centigrade.
  • Grease the baking pan and pour cake mixture in it. You can take any size of cake pan; I am using 8” pan.
  • Bake cake in oven at 180 degrees centigrade for 35-40 minutes. After 35 minutes test it by inserting the knife in center of cake if it came out clear without sticky batter, Cake is ready otherwise bake it 5 more minutes and test again.
  • It should be ready in 40 minutes in 8” pan.
  • Take out the cake from oven and let it cool down on room temperature for some time.
  • Cut it into the pieces and serve.
