Besan barfi without sugar syrup

Today I am sharing my recipe that I tried for first time, I was making laddo but it came out barfi πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚. It is more delicious than ladoo and barfi ( texture like ladoo but density like barfi).

Follow the ingredients and method to make this delicious besan bargi:

Ingredients:

Besan(gram flour) 300 gram

Ghee (Clarified butter) 150 gram

Suji (semolina) 50 gram

Granulated Sugar 300 gram (can be reduced as per taste)

Chopped nuts 1/4 cup(almonds, melon seeds)

Green cardamon powder 1/2 tsp

 

Method:

In a deep pan add ghee and gram flour, roast it on medium flame till it change color (make sure keep stirring).

When it leave shine and ghee on corners Of pan, add semolina and roast on low medium flame 5-6 minutes more so all come together.

Add cardamon powder and nuts , mix well and switch off the flame. Keep it aside and stir for 2 minutes do nuts won’t get dark in heat.

Let it cool down a bit not completely cool down it should be warm.

Add sugar and mix well sugar will melt a bit and mixture will come together.

Line tray with butter paper and spread the mixture evenly. Let it set in room temperature for 30-60 minutes and cut in pieces.
